SAN JOSE, Calif.—Sprint Nextel Corp.’s former gaming guru Jason Ford has joined Namco Networks as vice president of strategy and planning.
Ford, who most recently was general manager of games for Sprint Nextel, will be responsible for strategic planning related to future products, technologies and distribution channels at Namco.
Namco specializes in producing mobile versions of classic arcade video games. The company has worked with Sprint Nextel since 2004 to preload a demo of Ms. Pac-Man on the carrier’s phones.
