LONDON-Mobile satellite service provider Inmarsat Ltd. will install ADC’s Singl.eView rating and billing software for its new Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) service, which Inmarsat will begin offering in 2005. Inmarsat also uses Singl.eView for its current regional BGAN service.
“We’re pleased with Singl.eView’s performance and reliability for our regional BGAN service, and based on our experience it makes a great deal of sense to implement Singl.eView for our new BGAN service,” said Jean-Marie Fabry, director of business support systems for Inmarsat. “By standardizing on Singl.eView for our BGAN and regional BGAN services, we’ll set in place a platform that will support our future business needs.”
