TORONTO-NAC Geographic Products Inc. introduced a new location service the company said simplifies the use of wireless location services across a variety of locales and languages.
NAC’s technology uses the company’s Natural Area Coding System, which integrates information from postal codes, GPS information, building addresses and map grids. The company’s new Mobile Location Based Services Network combines the information into an easy-to-use service for wireless devices, allowing users to easily input information, avoid difficulties with foreign characters, eliminate outdated addresses and extend services beyond just addresses.
