CAMBRIDGE, United Kingdom-ARM Ltd. said it has added a new member to its foundry program, and it is the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp., which has also licensed the ARM7TDMI microprocessor core.
“It significantly strengthens our support for customers in China who now have access to SMIC’s world-class manufacturing expertise for their ARM core-based designs,” said Jun Tan, president of ARM in China.
