SAN DIEGO-Qualcomm Inc. said it has filed a lawsuit against Texas Instruments Inc. for what it described as a breach of the patent portfolio agreement both companies signed in 2000.
The patent portfolios provide “rights to each company to supply integrated circuits on a worldwide basis for all wireless standards,” said Qualcomm. The complaint, filed Friday in state court in Delaware, seeks damages and termination of TI’s rights under the deal.
