MENLO PARK, Calif.-Startup Orative Corp. announced it scored $6 million in venture funding. The company said it would use the funds to develop software for Java and BREW phones to simplify business communications.
“Orative is a Mayfield-incubated company pursuing a large opportunity,” said David Ladd, an Orative chairman. “Like voice mail, e-mail, and the mobile phone, Orative’s solution will evolve into an essential part of the enterprise work experience.”
The company scored funding from Mayfield and Diamondhead Ventures.
