STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Swedish company Sapio AB launched a Sony Ericsson Personal Java version of Photostore, a mobile picture messaging community application for smart phones.
Sabio already offers a Photostore solution for Symbian Series 60 devices and is following that with the Sony Ericsson P800 version.
The application is built using Personal Java and allows P800 owners to use all the features of Photostore, which allows users to upload photos to an online store. Mobile carriers can generate revenue through increased data traffic and print orders, Sapio said.
Users can quickly and easily share and distribute photos taken with camera phones. The community includes users in more than 32 countries.
