Amplefuture invests in Macrospace

LONDON-Mobile entertainment company Amplefuture said it invested an unspecified amount of money in fellow wireless gaming company Macrospace.

“This investment represents a great vote of confidence in our business,” said Shukri Shammas, Macrospace’s managing director. “It will allow us to further extend our leadership in the mobile entertainment space.”

Macrospace, which develops games based on the Java platform, said it will use the additional capital to further expand its product portfolio and global market reach.

“This deal makes sense both commercially and strategically for Amplefuture,” said Derek Byrne, Amplefuture’s managing director. “It underscores our commitment to remain at the forefront of the industry.”
