KIRKLAND, Wash.-In its quarterly Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Nextel Partners Inc. reported it is currently involved in a pair of class-action lawsuits.
The first suit was filed April 1 in the District Court of Hidalgo County, Texas, and seeks to prevent Nextel Partners from “falsely and deceptively” increasing prices for wireless service.
The second suit, which was filed May 3 in Leon County, Fla., circuit court, claims Nextel Partners “deceptively and misleadingly” characterized charges for service on customer bills.
