BOSTON-InfoClarus, which supplies mobility solutions for enterprises, has signed an agreement to jointly market its mobility solutions for enterprises in collaboration with Skypath Networks.
Skypath is a nationwide provider of wireless services via handheld devices that Motorola Inc. and Research In Motion manufacture. It has two nationwide platforms, one using the ReFLEX protocol, the other using the Datatac protocol. Skypath offers two-way paging and wireless data services, including device-to-device messaging, e-mail and machine-originated data telemetry.
The companies said their relationship will let Skypath customers take advantage of InfoClarus’ ActiveNet Companion suite of solutions, which enables secure download and management of e-mail attachments and other shared files.
The ActiveNet single server architecture “is designed to be the core of an enterprise-wide mobility strategy that bridges the gap between mobile users, the different types of devices they carry and the applications they need to access,” InfoClarus said.
