Motorola to integrate MTV content on handsets

CHICAGO-MTV International entered what it described as its biggest ever marketing collaboration in a three-year $75 million deal to allow Motorola Inc. to put the entertainment company’s content into its handsets.

The content will include ring tones, games, images, new MTV shows and vignettes in each region, as well as live MTV/Motorola events and retail promotions.

“This alliance celebrates MTV and Motorola’s focus on a total lifestyle connection with our youth audiences, delivering breakthrough creativity in local markets worldwide,” commented Bill Roedy, president of MTV Networks International.
