LOS ANGELES-A lawsuit has been filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California against Leap Wireless International Inc. on behalf of purchasers of Leap securities between Feb. 11, 2002 and July 24, 2002.
The lawsuit charges Leap with making false and misleading statements concerning its financial condition that “concealed the deteriorating value of its wireless license assets by grossly overstating their value.”
The plaintiffs, represented by Weiss & Yourman, are seeking to recover damages.
