MANKATO, Minn.-Rural telecommunications provider HickoryTech Corp. reported $4.4 million in wireless revenues for the third quarter, a slight drop from the $4.5 million the company reported for the same quarter last year.
A $100,000 increase in roaming revenues was offset by a $200,000 decrease in service revenues for the quarter, which was driven by fewer total customers caused by an increase in churn from 1.84 percent to 2 percent at the end of the quarter and a drop in average revenue per user from $30.70 last year to $26.80 this year.
