STOCKHOLM, Sweden-L.M. Ericsson said it will partner with Agere and Proxim to develop end-to-end solutions for Wireless LAN access, integrating hot spots with 3G wide area networks.
“The operators can offer customers attractive value added service packages, combining the different features of both WLAN and mobile technologies, also creating new revenue streams from locally adapted content,” said Torbjorn Nilsson, senior vice president, marketing and strategic business development at Ericsson.
