STOCKHOLM, Sweden-Mobilaris announced it will join with Cambridge Positioning Systems Ltd. to roll out location-based services throughout Europe.
The companies plan to combine Mobilaris’ Pacific Ocean middleware platform with CPS’ reference network to create location applications that work with E-OTD positioning technology. “By combining our middleware expertise with CPS’ competence in positioning, we will be able to market the benefits of high-precision positioning to network operators,” explained Bjorn Westerholm, Mobilaris chief executive officer. “Together, we can show them a different breadth of mass market, feature-rich location applications that can be achieved by E-OTD positioning technology.”
