NEW ORLEANS-Petroleum Communications Inc. (PetroCom) announced Telular Corp. will serve as the hardware supplier for the recently introduced Poseidon fixed wireless service, which allows standard phones, fax machines and computers to operate on the PetroCom cellular network.
Telular will provide its Phonecell terminals to deliver fixed wireless service over PetroCom’s cellular network to customers in the Gulf of Mexico.
“Telular’s fixed wireless products allow us to deliver reliable and cost-effective solutions while maximizing bandwidth utilization on our network,” explained Jay Andrew, product manager for PetroCom.
