NAPERVILLE, Ill.-Tellabs announced several changes to its corporate management team that it said will strengthen relations with customers, speed product development and grow international business.
The changes, effective August 5, include:
- Edward Kennedy will continue to serve as senior vice president of the metro networking group and also now will be responsible for the Tellabs 5000 series of digital cross-connects.
- Stephen McCarthy, previously senior vice president of global marketing, has been made senior vice president of optical networking group.
- Robert Pullen, a 17-year veteran of Tellabs, and most recently senior vice president of optical networking will move to senior vice president of marketing and sales for North America.
- Anders Gustafsson, previously president of global sales, will serve as president of Tellabs International, a new organization to focus on international product development marketing and sales.
- Thomas Gruenwald, previously senior vice president and general manager of the company’s broadband access group, will no serve as senior vice president of operation for Tellabs International.
- John Kohler will continue to serve as senior vice president of global business operations.
- And Joan Ryan, who will continue to serve as executive vice president and chief financial officer, also now will be responsible for the global information systems organization led by Catherine Kozik, chief information officer and senior vice president of that organization.
