FRANKFURT (Dow Jones)–Samsung Electronics Co. (SSNHY, 005930.SE) will go to court on August 25 to appeal an earlier decision banning the South Korean technology giant from selling its Galaxy tablet computer in most of the European Union, as what has become a global battle for intellectual property rights rages on.
