LINCOLN, Neb.—Transcrypt International Inc. will now be known as EFJ Inc., following stockholder approval of the corporate name change and reorganization.
EFJ Inc. is the parent company of EFJohnson Co., which provides land mobile radio systems, products and services, and Transcrypt International Inc., which provides communications encryption products and services.
“The new corporate identity and organization more clearly reflect the company’s position in two related but distinct business,” explained Michael E. Jalbert, chairman and chief executive officer. “The move underscores our commitment to build upon the established EFJohnson brand name in the land mobile radio marketplace.”
