SAN JOSE, Calif.—BEA Systems Inc. and PwC Consulting business of PricewaterhouseCoopers announced they will join to develop field service maintenance solutions for communications service providers using BEA’s WebLogic Enterprise Platform as their underlying application infrastructure software.
The companies said the solution will offer greater flexibility and interoperability for carriers and will reduce costs of integration and maintenance. “Service providers around the globe require flexible solutions that will help them bring new products and services to their customers in accelerated time frames,” explained Warwick Hill, of PwC Consulting. “Without a properly deployed mobile field service component, our clients would be hindered in these efforts.”
