OTTAWA, Ontario—Security solution provider Cloakware Corp. announced digital media developer DataPlay Inc. will use Cloakware’s patent-pending code to secure its ContentKey content promotion and activation software applications.
Cloakware’s code transformation technology will stop unlawful access to, or reproduction of, content offered through DataPlay’s ContentKey technology.
“Protecting copyrights is crucial for the digital media industry,” said F.B. Fallah, Cloakware’s president and chief executive officer. “Music, movies, books, games, images—all need to be guarded against piracy. … Cloakware’s code transformation technology adds an entirely new layer of defense.”
