STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Telia Mobile signed a national roaming agreement in Finland with Suomen 2G Oy, allowing Telia Mobile Finland’s customers to use Suomen’s national GSM network.
“This is an important step toward further establishing profitable mobile operations in Finland,” said Erik Hallberg, acting head of Telia Mobile Finland.
Telia Mobile’s GSM 1800 MHz network covers 54 percent of Finland’s population, and the roaming agreement will give it national coverage, beginning in the second quarter.
