MIAMI—World Wide Wireless Communications Inc. announced it will change its name to Universal Communications Systems Inc. and that its stock will start trading under the new UCSI symbol.
“As we work to realign the activities and direction of the company, we wanted a name more suited to our industry and potential acquisition targets,” said Michael J. Zwebner, the company’s chairman.
UCSI works to acquire spectrum internationally.
