NEW YORK—LocatioNet Systems announced it opened a new office in Germany that it said will focus on sales and serve as a local base for customer support.
“We have seen significant growth in our activities in Europe which called for a local European front office,” explained Ofer Tziperman, president and chief executive officer of LocatioNet. “Further, we believe that the LocatioNet Platform best suits the requirements of the European mobile operators that are focused on a comprehensive open LBS solution rather than a simple tailor-made vertical application.”
The company further announced that Arik Lichtman, former area vice president of Comverse responsible for central Europe, will advise LocatioNet in building its European presence.
