SAN DIEGO, United States—PacketVideo is targeting carriers with pv3 Mobilemedia system, a new multimedia delivery system that includes encoding, transmission and decoding products that enable delivery of high-quality audio and visual content and applications to mobile devices over current networks.
Currently in trials with carriers, including China Unicom, SK Telecom and Swisscom.PacketVideo said the pv3 system offers rich media services to users and increased revenue opportunities to carriers. “PacketVideo is thrilled with the continued growth and development of the mobile media industry.
