New Horizons enters disposable phone market space

ORLANDO, Fla.—The disposable phone market is getting a little more crowded with the launch of another company, New Horizons Technologies International, which plans to introduce its disposable product at the 2002 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

New Horizons joins Hop-On, Telespree and others in offering disposable phone products.

New Horizons said its new offering will allow users to make and receive calls and is recyclable and rechargeable. The company said it is currently in production for deliveries this month to participating wireless resellers and dealers nationwide. The company’s phone should sell for under $40.
