WASHINGTON, D.C.—The United Telecom Council announced Nancy J. Victory, assistant secretary of commerce, will give the keynote address at UTC Telecom 2002 this June in Las Vegas.
Victory plays a lead role in the telecommunications industry serving as administrator of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. Prior to her appointment, she was a partner at Wiley, Rein & Fielding, representing telecommunications companies before the Federal Communications Commission.
“We are indeed fortunate to have NTIA’s leader, Nancy Victory, with us to share her views on how US telecom policies with regard to spectrum and broadband technologies will impact critical infrastructure communications,” said Bill Moroney, UTC’s president and chief executive officer.
