DALLAS—Wireless software and applications developer JP Mobile Inc. announced it acquired the assets of Isovia Inc., which provided mobile software applications for field services and sales personnel. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
“Businesses today are demanding mobile software that is practical from a user perspective, and minimizes new infrastructure costs,” said Dayakar Puskoor, JP Mobile’s chief executive officer. “In addition to proven success in disconnected computing, Isovia brings a robust programming tool that enables a single application to be developed once and deployed to multiple devices.”
