Nokia reduces Salo plant layoffs

HELSINKI, Finland—Nokia Corp. said it has reduced to 130 the number of workers it intends to cut at its Salo plant because some of the workers agreed to retire or seek other jobs.

The company had planned a cut of 260 jobs.
