BELLEVUE, Wash.—Wireless data delivery solution provider Wireless Services Corp. and mobile software company FreeRein have entered a joint service agreement to commercially release new wireless data applications for worldwide carrier and enterprise customers.
The companies said the new wireless applications will be available in the United States through Sonera zed and AT&T Wireless next month and are slated for international availability within the next several months. The new applications include: M/Gen Group, a WAP application that allows mobile users to send messages to groups of other cell phones or e-mail addresses at once; FreeRein Wireless Greeting, a wireless greeting card application; and FreeRein M/Gen, a combination of Wireless Services’ Internet messaging gateway technology and FreeRein’s Mobile Platform.
