Santo Domingo.- The telecom Claro Codetel, subsidiary of America Movil, plans to invest RD$12.6 billion (more than US$340 million) in Dominican Republic this year, revealed its president yesterday.
Oscar Peña, interviewed by listin.com.do, revealed that by April the company will use only the name Claro, as have done most of the subsidiaries in 18 countries, with 260 million customers.
He provided figures for 2010, projections for 2011 and on the plan to develop new technologies.
