TEL AVIV, Israel—BreezeCom and Floware Wireless Systems said they completed their merger and are renaming the newly merged entity Alvarion.
The company’s shares will trade on the Nasdaq exchange under the symbol ALVR.
Shareholders of both companies approved the merger at shareholders’ meetings 30 July. Under terms of the merger, BreezeCom issued 0.767 ordinary shares for each ordinary share of Floware.
Alvarion said it will provide point-to-multipoint broadband wireless access equipment in both the licensed and unlicensed frequencies, ranging from 2.4 GHz to 28 GHz.
