INDIANAPOLIS-Brightpoint Inc. today announced two distribution deals, one with a major personal digital assistant company and another with a wireless data carrier.
Brightpoint’s agreement with Palm Inc. involves distributing Palm’s handheld devices, focusing on wireless carriers and related retailers. Brightpoint’s second deal involves Motient Corp., in which Brightpoint will sell Motient’s eLink service with Yahoo! through various retail stores across the country.
“Brightpoint could not have been a better choice in facilitating Motient’s expansion into retail,” said Dan Croft, Motient’s vice president for wireless Internet services.
