Clickmarks has agreed to provide its mobile access and critical alert capabilities to Again Technologies Inc.’s customers.
Clickmarks, which is a software infrastructure company for enterprise and wireless carriers, will provide its Enterprise Habitat platform for Again Technologies’ CompEnterprise 7.0 Enterprise Performance Optimization software.
“CompEnterprise allows companies to construct and manage incentive programs, and makes compensation results as well as other business information available anywhere, anytime over the Web, PDAs or WAP-enabled cell phones,” the company said.
The company said its technology enables the users of CompEnterprise software to access a variety of information through browser or wireless device by building a Performance Dashboard. The dashboard integrates data from CompEnterprise as well as other corporate systems as customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning and sales force automation applications and other Web content.
With this, says Clickmarks, clients can communicate incentive programs to employees, sales and services channels, managers and executives.
“One of the secrets to a successful incentive program is giving participants the ability to track their progress, and Clickmarks’ wireless technology makes it possible for that to happen anywhere and at any time,” said Rick Wysocki, chairman and chief executive officer of Again Technologies. “It also gives our clients a tool that can improve their employees’ productivity through quick access not only to our application but to any corporate or Web-based information they need on a regular basis.”
According to Clickmarks, users can configure the system to deliver alerts for display on screen, received by e-mail and accessed on the phone through voice message boxes.
Again Technologies, which produces software that enables companies to construct and manage incentive programs, says it has agreed to resell Clickmark’s Enterprise Habitat for customers and prospects. The Habitat enables users to access such information as customer history, order status, inventory levels, e-mail, stock prices, industry news, account information and content from any Web page.
“With the rapid adoption of wireless devices for everyday business use, it is imperative to equip users with tools that speed and simplify wireless navigation,” said John Huyett, president and chief executive officer of Clickmarks.
