CARLSTADT, N.J.-Smartmeds.com Inc., a subsidiary of Infu-Tech Inc., which provides specialty pharmaceuticals, launched phase one of its Smartmedsmobile.com wireless application featuring personalized medication alerts.
“Smartmeds.com believes that people who take a drug, be it aspirin or heart medication on a regular daily basis, will more readily comply with prescribed medicine protocols if easily alerted at the time for their next dosage, no matter when or where they may be,” explained Smartmeds.com Chief Executive Officer Daniel Rosen. “With noncompliance having a major impact on the unnecessary escalation of a disease or condition, enrollment in Smartmedsmobile.com is designed to remind users to take their medications as per their doctor’s orders.”
Future phases of the wireless application are expected to include health news, targeted medical information and e-commerce capabilities.
