RESTON, Va.-Nextel Communications Inc. announced alliances with Airput, @Road and ClickSoftware to provide Nextel Wireless Web customers with solutions for real-time, remote management of time sheets, scheduling and fleets.
Airput said its time-sheet management solution allows information entered via a wireless phone to be saved in a digital format, which can be imported directly into financial spreadsheets and accounting software and submitted electronically to payroll services.
Fleet management services, provided by @Road, combine voice, data and location services into one integrated solution, allowing Nextel customers in the service trades and transportation/trucking industries to communicate with and manage transportation fleets.
ClickSoftware’s ClickMobile and ClickSchedule applications enable service representatives in the field to send and receive updated schedule information via their wireless phones.
