YEHUDA, Israel-Floware Wireless Systems said the Abrared Consortium of Spain selected its WALKair system for its wireless network rollout throughout Spain. The $3.7 million contract makes Floware the supplier for two broadband wireless access operators in Spain.
The Abrared Consortium was awarded a 3.5 GHz license to provide fixed local wireless access by the Spanish government last March. The company plans to deploy a nationwide wireless network throughout Spain and provide services to businesses in 55 cities and districts during its first year of operation.
