ALAMEDA, Calif.-Geoworks, which develops Internet software for wireless devices, released its third-quarter sales results, showing a loss of $5.14 million while registering a 37-percent jump in sales over the year.
The company’s revenue was $4.3 million, up from $3.1 million a year ago. Geoworks said the increase was due to contracts with Cingular Interactive and Telcordia.
