EVoice introduces voice mail service

MENLO PARK, Calif.-EVoice Inc. introduced eVoice Premium, a new voice mail service designed for residential and small business customers, the company said.

EVoice Premium works with subscribers’ existing phone numbers and e-mail addresses. The “all-access” feature consolidates voice mail messages from wireless and wireline phones into a single mailbox and notifies subscribers of new messages on their pager, mobile phone or through e-mail. EVoice Premium also gives subscribers the option to create personalized outgoing messages and choose the number of rings callers will hear before eVoice answers, and it offers enhanced storage capacity of up to 50 messages.

It is available for $8 per month, with the all-access functionality available for an additional $3 per month, eVoice said. Subscribers who act before Jan. 1 will receive one month free and have the installation fee waived.
