MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.-In preparation for its entry into the broadband wireless market, Radix Wireless Inc. announced it changed its name to BeamReach Networks Inc.
“Beam” refers to the company’s beam-forming technology, which enables high-capacity, non-line-of-sight wireless access in point to multipoint systems. “Reach” is for the reach of its radio signals and its hopes to extend into the market.
