REDWOOD CITY, Calif.-Phone.com Inc. announced an agreement to integrate the Wireless Keyword Navigation System from RealNames Corp. into the Phone.com UP.Link Server.
The result will allow users to access wireless Internet content by typing in keywords, omitting the “www” and “.com” parts of addresses.
In addition, the technology features an auto-complete function that allows users to search using abbreviated versions of a site name as well.
Companies that wish to take advantage of these abilities to extend their wireless Internet content must subscribing to Wireless Keywords.
