CARROLLTON, Texas-CellStar Corp. announced it will offer logistics, fulfillment and value-added services to support the expansion of Leap Wireless International Inc.’s Cricket service in various U.S. markets.
CellStar, a value-added wireless services provider, will offer management, procurement and logistics services, as well as handset programming, packaging, turnkey accessory programs and return/repair services.
The expansion will include Tucson, Ariz.; Little Rock, Ark.; Wichita, Kan.; Charlotte and Greensboro, N.C.; Tulsa, Okla.; Memphis, Tenn.; and Salt Lake City.
“We’re delighted to extend our relationship with Leap and continue to provide leading-edge logistics and fulfillment services to support the Cricket rollout,” said Dale Allardyce, CellStar’s president and chief operating officer.
Leap also announced it is launching its Cricket Comfortable Wireless service in Memphis, its fourth market. The company now offers its service in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Nashville and Memphis, Tenn.
