BUCHAREST, Romania-On 28 October, Antoni Slavinski, the Bulgarian transport and telecommunications minister, said on a Bulgarian radio station he hopes the price for the second Bulgarian GSM 900 MHz license exceeds the initial minimum US$45 million price.
The tender for the country’s second GSM license is expect to be completed by the end of this year. The successful company should have at least 2 million subscribers in other GSM networks, three years of experience and be operational in at least two countries.
“The requirements will shift out the minor players and will attract experienced candidates,” said Slavinski.
