JERSEY CITY, N.J.-Sports Ticker Enterprises L.P., ESPN Inc.’s real-time sports and news information service, announced it obtained a permanent injunction from the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey against Derek Bowlin, Anthony Matyia and Liquid Internet over their use of the name mysportsticker and the Web domain name mysportsticker.com.
The injunction recognizes that Sports Ticker Enterprises owns the exclusive rights to the Sports Ticker brand. Liquid Internet has agreed to discontinue its use and transfer the domain name to Sports Ticker Enterprises, the company said.
