BETHESDA, Md.-Comsat Mobile Communications signed a three-year satellite service agreement with Tenzing Communications Inc. allowing Tenzing to offer its OnBoard services over Comsat’s air-to-ground communications network.
The OnBoard system enables airline subscribers to use their laptop computers and existing e-mail message accounts to send and receive messages while in-flight, as well as to browse Internet content.
Financial terms of the agreement were not released.
