STOCKHOLM, Sweden-AT&T Wireless Services Inc. and BT Wireless deployed Ericsson’s Mobility Gateway as a foundation for their WorldConnect service, the first offering through the two companies’ Advance strategic global alliance.
Ericsson said the gateway, which operates in the Jambala open platform, will help WorldConnect deliver wireless coverage on a single phone number using either TDMA or GSM networks.
