GTE TSI now roaming in Austraªlia

TAMPA, Fla.-GTE Telecom-munication Services Inc. launched its international roaming services to Australia’s Telstra, providing seamless CDMA roaming services to customers of Japanese and Korean operators with automatic inbound CDMA roaming across the Australia-wide Telstra CDMA network in time for the 2000 Summer Olympics. GTE said its multi-service offering includes clearinghouse services for roaming; IS-41 signaling interoperability; and a near-real time, on-line customer service facility.
