INDIANAPOLIS-Interactive Intelligence Inc. introduced a wireless interaction client application for Palm devices allowing them to access corporate communications systems and other functions.
The Wireless Interaction Client allows users to search corporate directories, view status information, make outbound calls, perform conference calls, screen incoming calls and record other calls.
For instance, a mobile user can search a corporate directory, select the contact desired and press “send.” The corporate communications system will then dial the number and bridge the call to the user’s mobile phone to take advantage of corporate call rates not available directly from a wireless phone.
The solution also allows users to record calls and conference calls, then send that recording as a wave file to an e-mail message.
