SAN DIEGO-Zagat.com, one of the larger restaurant review and location content providers, has tapped Wireless Knowledge L.L.C. to wirelessly enable its restaurant guide.
While it has made several deals with wireless carriers and portals to offer its content wirelessly, the deal with Wireless Knowledge makes the Zagat Mobile Channel available to any Internet-enabled wireless phone. Support for wireless personal digital assistants is expected in the future.
In addition, users are expected to have access soon to additional Zagat content, such as the New York City and Los Angeles Marketplace Surveys, New York City Nightlife guide and U.S. and International Travel guides.
