NEW YORK-Mobilocity Inc. formally launched its Mobile Financial Services Practice-a program designed to pioneer mobile applications targeting the banking, brokerage and insurance industries-by partnering with J.P. Morgan & Co.
The agreement calls for Mobilocity to help J.P. Morgan develop a mobile Internet strategy by creating a business plan for mobile initiatives within the firm, conducting an assessment of mobile technologies for the bank, and developing and hosting m-business seminars for J.P. Morgan employees.
J.P. Morgan recently unveiled the SynDirect Wireless platform for bond issuers and investors, allowing users to track interest and pricing of pending debt issues.
